Farmalider Group and MASPV collaborate to drive green energy forward

The strategic alliance between Farmalider Group and MASPV will reduce their carbon footprint by 70 tonnes of CO₂ per year, equivalent to saving 63 tonnes of coal and preserving 777 trees annually. In this way, Farmalider Group demonstrates its commitment to the health of both patients and the planet.

Farmalider Group, a benchmark in pharmaceutical innovation, has commissioned its new photovoltaic installation at Laboratorios Edefarm (Valencia), achieving 32% energy self-consumption. This project, developed in collaboration with MASPV, pioneers in self-consumption solutions in Spain, reinforces Farmalider Group’s commitment to sustainability and progress toward a greener future.

This initiative forms part of MASPV’s innovative EMC (Energy Management Contract) collaboration model. MASPV has assumed the initial investment for this 132 kWp plant and will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of the installation, allowing Farmalider Group to focus on its core business without operational distractions.

“The installation of these photovoltaic panels is a key milestone in our journey toward sustainability. This project not only reflects our environmental responsibility, but also our vision of leadership in the implementation of clean technologies within the pharmaceutical sector.”

In addition, Farmalider Group is implementing further sustainability measures, such as electric vehicle charging stations available to employees and a management commitment to transition to electric vehicles by 2027.
