Our Sustainability and Social Responsibility Initiatives

Farmalider ECO and Eco-Innovation

We have developed Farmalider ECO, a range of products designed to be more sustainable.
We use packaging made from recycled materials and apply Clean Label reformulations that eliminate unnecessary additives without compromising safety or efficacy.
Our goal is to offer solutions that promote the rational use of medicines and minimize waste.

Objective: to minimize environmental impact throughout the entire value chain.

We are firmly committed to reducing our carbon footprint and energy consumption across our manufacturing sites.
We implement energy-efficiency projects and use renewable energy sources, such as the installation of a 152 kWp photovoltaic plant at our Valencia site, covering 32% of our total energy needs.
We also promote a circular economy model to manage and reuse resources responsibly.

Objective: to transition towards cleaner, more efficient, and responsible production processes.

Transparency and ethics are essential in our supply chain.
We prioritize suppliers who share our commitment to the Responsible Care principles and use recycled and recyclable materials in our packaging to ensure sustainability at every stage.

Objective: to guarantee transparency, ethics, and sustainability across the entire supply chain.

Our strategy is aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

We encourage employee participation in social initiatives and align our actions with the 2030 Agenda, particularly with:

  •      SDG 5: Gender Equality
  •      SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals

 

In 2025, we launched a special calendar focusing each month on one or two specific SDGs, with internal initiatives, awareness campaigns, and social media content (Instagram) including quizzes, news, and interactive activities.

Objective: to foster reflection, action, and collective awareness among employees, clients, and the community.

Our CSR strategy aims to generate a positive social impact, placing the promotion of public health and social well-being at the heart of our activities.
Transparency and ethics guide every decision we make, consolidating a responsible management model committed to people and the environment.

To strengthen this commitment, we have created a Sustainability and CSR Department, dedicated to driving initiatives that promote the well-being of our employees, the community, and the planet.

These include internal programs to improve our team’s health and work-life balance, as well as collaborations with Fundación A la Par and Fundación La Raíz, through which we promote social inclusion and diversity.
